Laneway Bungalow is a comfortable one-bedroom unit with off-street undercover parking, perfectly located on a quiet street. There is a village shopping strip within 10-15 minutes walk that includes coffee shops, gourmet eateries, a bottle shop and supermarket. The bedroom contains a queen bed with a large wardrobe and the living room has a sofa-bed to accommodate a child or adult, as needed. The bright, airy living room has a smart TV (which can also be moved to the bedroom if you prefer), giving you access to a range of apps including complimentary Netflix, and free Wifi is also provided. A full kitchen is connected to the living room, allowing you to self-cater if you choose, although there are plenty of take-away food options in the area. There is a shower with a separate toilet, and a washing machine with both an inside clothes airer and an outside clothes line. Next to the carport is a small private outside yard with table and chairs that allows you to sit and enjoy the Geelong sunshine. The bungalow, yard and carport are private and self-contained. The bungalow can be accessed by driving down the laneway and into the carport, then walking through the gate into the yard.
If you prefer, all-day street parking is also available with pedestrian access to the bungalow. The unit offers a small yard space, – lounge and Dining area. A full kitchen – the sofa bed will make up an extra bed in case the guests have friends travelling (at linen fee). a small washing machine is available. We provide secure entry and exit with most guests picking up keys from our central point at 125 Yarra Street, Geelong. The property owner is readily available if needed but this is your space and we will ensure that your privacy is maintained. East Geelong is a pretty inner city suburb wide leafy streets, good shops on Ormond Road and Myers Street. A real sense of community. Geelong High is 500 metres away, the expansive Eastern Gardens at the north end of the Street giving access to the Botanic Gardens and the Eastern Beach parklands. The main public hospital is just several hundred metres west across Swanston street. say 10 minutes easy walk. Deakin University waterfront campus is 15 minutes walk or a short bus ride.
